The new global cleaning standard
The Contamination and Sanitization Inspection (CSI) product family is the only line of portable, handheld devices that detect and document surface contaminants in seconds.
The CSI product line

The CSI product line is composed of three cutting-edge devices: the CSI, the CSI-D, and the CSI-D+. Each device is designed to detect contaminants that may have been missed during routine cleaning.
The CSI device provides customized checklists, video documentation, and detects organic contaminants such as feces, bacteria, and food residues.
The CSI-D takes the features of the CSI device and enhances it with Disinfection using UV-C feature.
Finally, the CSI-D+ is equipped with the added feature of enhanced detection of saliva and respiratory droplets and disinfection with UV-C, making it ideal for the most demanding applications.
Our integrated systems can reduce the likelihood of spreading dangerous and costly illnesses including COVID-19, influenza, norovirus, and diseases caused by E.coli.
How clean is clean?
Across all industries, tightening regulations mean that the need to verify clean is more necessary than ever. Current methods such as visual inspection and ATP swabs have been used for decades, but they only provide a portion of the picture when it comes to which areas are clean and which are not.
The CSI product line uses revolutionary technology to detect contaminants that may have been missed during routine cleaning. This can reduce the likelihood of spreading dangerous and costly illnesses including COVID-19, influenza, C. difficile, MRSA, norovirus, and diseases caused by E. coli and spore-forming bacteria that can survive on surfaces for months. A CSI certified clean environment has the potential to decrease risk and save lives.

How does CSI Identify Contaminants?
The CSI device utilizes a fluorescence imaging scanner that is non-contact, and does not require fluorescent dyes or reagents for operation. The CSI device enables organizations to audit “cleaned” surfaces under bright ambient light and to detect invisible surface contamination. In other words, it makes the invisible contaminants “visible” without the need to shut down operations. Other characteristics of the CSI scanners include:
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registered
- rechargeable battery powered
- Hardware consists of a high-resolution color LCD display and touch screen.
- Includes complimentary software system to automatically provide dynamic AI risk assessment and customize risk responses.
What types of contaminants can be identified by the CSI devices?
Biological contaminants
Capable of identifying a wide range of contaminants, including saliva, respiratory droplets, fecal matter, blood and animal protein residue
Organic contaminants
Capable of identifying a wide range of contaminants, including vegetable and grain starch, leafy vegetable residue, fat and oils
Simplifying Detection

Examples of invisible organic residues include saliva and respiratory droplets, vegetable and grain starch, leafy vegetable residue, fecal matter contamination, fats and oils, and animal protein residue
Anytime, Anywhere Contamination Detection
The CSI devices are designated to be easy to use under ambient light, making it an ideal solution for on-the-spot inspections and monitoring. Versatile and convenient, it can be used in any environment at any time, whether you need to scan large surfaces or perform more specific analyses. With its user-friendly interface and simple operation, it doesn’t require special skills or knowledge to use. It is an all-in-one solution that is not only cost-effective but also time-saving, making it the perfect device for maintaining a safe and clean environment.
